Passage Brief

Fiji, with its rich island culture, rainforests, beautiful beaches, lagoons and palm-lined shores will be a picturesque start to this leg. Fiji is famed for its rich marine life and so as we depart to sail the 600 nautical mile passage to Vanuatu we should be treated to some interesting wildlife spotting and fabulous fishing

Prevailing conditions along this route will see us moving along comfortably in the South Pacific Trades on a beam reach with a close watch for squall activity. Expect plenty of action from Spinnaker and Mizzen Staysail down to a reef or two and back again. Along with some awesome fishing.

After 5 days of brilliant blue water sailing we will arrive at a group of 82, relatively small islands called Vanuatu.
